A journey of change and hope 

“After years of struggling with alcohol dependency and mental health challenges, Ben decided to mark one year of sobriety by taking on an incredible fundraising challenge in aid of Adferiad. 

Alongside his dad, Pete, and supported by his family throughout the journey, Ben completed the 135-mile Anglesey Coastal Path across seven days while carrying all their camping equipment along the route. The challenge was created to raise awareness of mental health and addiction struggles, while helping others facing similar experiences. 

Together, they raised more than £2,000 for Adferiad, helping us continue providing vital support to individuals and families across our communities.” 

Skydiving in memory of Jordan

“Following the loss of Jordan, a former service user of Adferiad, his family and friends organised a skydive challenge to raise donations in his memory. 

Thanks to the incredible generosity of supporters, vital donations were raised to help Adferiad continue providing mental health support services across Wales. Wanting every contribution to make the biggest possible impact, Jordan’s family and friends covered all skydive costs themselves so that every penny donated went directly to supporting others in need.”
