What is gambling support?

Gambling can be a source of entertainment, but for some people it becomes difficult to control and can start to have a serious impact on their life, relationships, finances, and wellbeing. People may gamble to cope with stress, loneliness, or emotional challenges, and over time it can become addictive.

Gambling support provides help and guidance for anyone affected by gambling harms. It can include understanding patterns of behaviour, developing strategies to regain control, and accessing practical or emotional support.

How support for gambling harms works

It includes understanding patterns of behaviour, developing strategies to regain control, and accessing practical or emotional support. At Adferiad, we offer non-judgemental, personalised support to help people reduce harm and build healthier lifestyles, while also supporting families affected by gambling.
