Delivering services to people with a variety of needs
At Adferiad, we benefit from our own specialist team of in-house trainers with considerable experience in delivering services to people with a variety of needs. We have developed a range of training packages to fit every need – from comprehensive, tailored programmes of training for organisations, to one-off training courses for individuals.
Covering a wealth of topics including substance use, mental health, co-occurring needs, and gambling, our programmes are designed by trainers with substantial field experience, providing participants with valuable knowledge and practical skills. We also offer flexibility in training formats, allowing participants to choose between online and in-person sessions based on their preferences.
Our team has 20 years' experience in delivering training on topics relating to mental health and addiction, demonstrated by a fantastic ability to relate sensitive subject matter to day-to-day operations, ensuring sessions are relevant and accessible.
Since Diverse Cymru joined the Adferiad family in 2024, our team can also deliver specialist training on a range of equality, diversity, and inclusion topics, including Transgender Awareness, Disability Awareness, Unconscious Bias, and Cultural Competence.
Training costs for organisations
Training is priced per course, with a capacity of between 12 and 20 participants depending on the course.
½ day courses (3 hours): £375 (£450 for Diverse Cymru courses)
Full day courses (6.5 hours): £650

Funded training for veterans
We’re pleased to offer two practical training opportunities funded by the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust, designed to strengthen support within the Armed Forces community. Peer Mentoring and Train the Trainer courses will be running monthly until December 2026 for veterans who are interested in supporting others in the Armed Forces community.
