What we do
Bodhyfryd is a six-bed supported accommodation service in Llandudno providing emergency housing for men at risk of homelessness following release from prison.
Who we support
Bodhyfryd supports adult males aged 18 and over who are leaving prison and are at risk of homelessness.
The service supports individuals with multiple and complex needs, which may include mental health conditions, substance use, and other support requirements linked to reintegration into the community.
How we do it
Support is delivered in-house by Adferiad staff and focuses on helping individuals resettle into the community.
This includes support to
Register with a GP and dentist
Access relevant Adferiad and partner services
Manage finances and develop independent living skills
Build stability following release from custody
Referral
All referrals are managed by Conwy Prison Leaver Housing Officers and submitted to the service manager.
Referrals may be discussed in Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MDT) meetings where individuals present a high level of risk to staff or others.
