Who we support
We support unpaid carers and families aged 18 and over living in Bridgend who may need emotional support, practical advice, signposting, or access to respite opportunities.
How we do it
The service offers one-to-one support from a dedicated Family Support Worker, alongside monthly evening carers support meetings where professionals share updates on local statutory and third-sector services. We also provide specialist signposting and support carers to apply for the Amser grant, helping them access activities that offer a break from their unpaid caring responsibilities.
Referral
Referrals can be made directly by carers through self-referral or by professionals supporting carers and families in Bridgend. Individuals can contact the service by phone or email to access support.
