What we do
The service provides a wide range of opportunities and activities to support people in their recovery from serious mental illness. We focus on promoting wellbeing, building confidence, and reducing isolation.
Who we support
The service is available to anyone aged 18 and over who lives in Carmarthenshire and has a diagnosed mental illness.
How we do it
We run groups in Carmarthen, Whitland, and Llandovery, as well as our centre in Ammanford. In addition, we offer one-to-ne sessions for those who would benefit from more individualised support. All sessions take place in a safe, welcoming environment where members can relax, feel listened to, and access vital mental health support when they need it. Alongside groups and one-to-one support, we provide a varied programme of activities and courses offering both practical and emotional support, helping people develop skills, improve wellbeing, and move forward in their recovery.
Referral
Individuals can self-refer to access this service. We, also, accept referrals from GP surgeries, Community Mental Health Teams (CMHTs), and other third sector organisations.
