What we do
Trailblazer - Creative and Digital Pathways is a confidence-building employability service that supports adults experiencing long-term mental health challenges or disabilities to move closer to training, volunteering, or employment.
The service uses creative activities and supported digital skills development to improve confidence, wellbeing, and work readiness in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Who we support
We support adults aged 18 and over who are economically inactive and living in Denbighshire.
The service is designed for people who are furthest from the labour market and may be experiencing challenges such as long-term mental health difficulties, disabilities, substance use, trauma, low confidence, social anxiety, and long-term unemployment.
How we do it
The service delivers mental health-informed, creative, and digital-based employability support at a person-centred pace.
Support includes:
Creative, arts-based activities to build confidence and engagement
Digital skills development
Employability and work-readiness support
Confidence and wellbeing support
Progression planning towards volunteering, training, or employment
Referral
Individuals can access the service through self-referral or professional referral.
Self-referrals can be made directly to Adferiad, and professional referrals are accepted from organisations such as GPs, mental health services, substance misuse services, social services, and other support agencies.
