Providing information, advice, advocacy, and peer support for unpaid carers of people with mental health or memory loss needs across Gwent.
Who we support
We support unpaid carers aged 18 and over caring for individuals with mental health conditions or memory loss issues across Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport, and Torfaen.
How we do it
The service is based within mental health wards, older adult units, and memory clinics across Gwent. We provide information on mental health conditions, carers’ rights, benefits, Carers Assessments, and training opportunities. We also offer advocacy support and opportunities for peer support to help reduce social isolation.
Referral
Carers can self-refer directly to the service, speak to staff on wards, or access support through email referral.
