Who we support
We support schools across Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport, and Torfaen to better identify, understand, and support young carers in primary and secondary education settings.
How we do it
The programme provides schools with tailored advice, guidance, resources, and practical support to help improve support for young carers’ education and emotional wellbeing. Support can be delivered face-to-face within schools or virtually, depending on the school’s needs.
Referral
Schools can access the programme directly or through referral from Local Authority teams, the Gwent Carers Hub, or other education and support services.
