What we do
Merthyr Outreach Tenancy Support service provides flexible, person-centred support to those who need help to access or sustain their housing. The service offers short-term floating support, usually for up to six months, tailored to individual needs, including mental health.
Who we support
The service supports people in Merthyr aged 18 and over who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or struggling to maintain their tenancy.
How we do it
The service focuses on building independence by helping individuals manage their accommodation, finances, and wellbeing, including support with hoarding behaviours, relationships, and engagement with the community, as well as accessing education, employment, and appropriate health services to promote long-term stability.
Referral
Referrals to the service are made through Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council Housing Support Grant Team.
