What we do
Providing flexible respite and wellbeing support for unpaid carers of people experiencing mental health challenges across Pembrokeshire.
Who we support
We support adults aged 18 and over living in Pembrokeshire who provide unpaid care for someone experiencing mental health challenges and may benefit from emotional support, respite opportunities, and social connection.
How we do it
The service provides flexible one-to-one support across Pembrokeshire, delivered in a way that meets individual needs where possible. Support is available Monday to Friday, typically between 9am and 5pm. We also run a weekly Ladies’ Group at the Tenby Resource Initiative (TRI), offering peer support, wellbeing activities, and opportunities for social connection in a supportive environment.
Referral
Referrals are open to adults aged 18 and over living in Pembrokeshire who have an identified caring role. Referrals can be made through the Community Mental Health Team (CMHT), Pembrokeshire Carers Information & Support Service, professionals, unpaid carers themselves, or through self-referral directly to Adferiad.
