What we do
Providing respite, support, and wellbeing opportunities for carers, families, and individuals affected by mental illness in Swansea.
Who we support
We support adults aged 18 and over living in the Swansea area who are caring for a loved one or friend experiencing mental illness, as well as individuals receiving mental health support from family members or friends.
How we do it
The service provides one-to-one support and advice through in-person meetings, telephone calls, and video calls. We also offer carers groups that provide peer support, information sharing, and guest speakers, alongside group activities and drop-in sessions. Short-term support and activity opportunities are available to help promote independence for service users while providing respite for carers and families.
Referral
The service has an open referral pathway and accepts both self-referrals and professional referrals. Individuals can access support directly by contacting the service via email.
