What we do:
This service is a resource and activity centre with a drop-in facility. We provide a safe, welcoming environment where people can relax, feel listened to, and access mental health support when needed. Our approach is inclusive, person-centred, and focused on promoting wellbeing, recovery, and social connection.
Who we support:
The service provides support to individuals aged 18 and over living with mental health issues in Pembrokshire.
How we do it:
The Tenby Resource Initiative delivers three main projects. Our drop-in project offers a safe and welcoming space for individuals who may need someone to talk to or support with their mental health. We also over a varied programme of group activities that focus on wellbeing and mental health. These sessions help reduce isolation, build confidence, and encourage positive social interaction. Lastly, we offer personalised one-to-one support that focuses on individual strengths, goals and recovery, and aims to empower people to improve their quality of life. Practical support may include help with paperwork such as benefits, housing, and application forms, as well as signposting to other services for specialist advice where needed.
Referral:
We accept referrals from Community Mental Health Teams (CMHTs), GP surgeries, and carers.
