Wrexham Acute Family Support provides practical and emotional support for carers, families and friends supporting adults with mental health and substance use needs.
Who we support
The service supports adult carers, friends and family members aged 18+ who support someone over 18 with mental health and/or substance use needs in Wrexham.
How we do it
We provide one-to-one and group support, information and guidance, wellbeing activities, peer support, and opportunities for carers to access short breaks and respite support.
Referral
We accept self-referrals and referrals from professionals for adult carers across Wrexham. Professionals can contact the service directly to discuss referrals.
