What is mental health and wellbeing support for?

Mental health and wellbeing can affect how we think, feel, and cope with everyday life. At times, people may experience anxiety, low mood, stress, or emotional distress that can feel difficult to manage, especially when combined with other life challenges.

There is a growing need for accessible and compassionate support, as poor mental health can have a significant impact on relationships, physical health, work, and overall quality of life. When these thoughts and feelings are not addressed, they can become very overwhelming as time goes on.

How mental health and wellbeing support works

At Adferiad, we provide a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space where individuals can explore how to improve their mental health and wellbeing. Our person-centred approach focuses on the individual, helping them to build resilience, improve coping strategies, and work towards a healthier and balanced life.

We offer a wide variety of services across Wales that support individuals to maintain their mental health and wellbeing, in addition to those experiencing serious mental illness or at risk of a mental health crisis. Our services include early intervention support, sanctuary safe spaces for those at risk of crisis, drop-in support hubs, and community engagement activities.

If you have a Community Psychiatric Nurse or Social Worker that you work with, we suggest you also contact them.
