Current research projects

B-Sprint Study 

Pioneering research to improve diagnosis and treatment of serious mental illness. Open to people aged 16–70 in Wales with lived experience of bipolar, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, or psychosis.

Who can take part?

Participants receive £120 and must attend a study day in Cardiff. 

WCVA Study – Volunteers 

Share your experiences of volunteering, including motivations, barriers, and what could be improved. The online survey takes around 6 minutes. 

Who can take part?

Open to volunteers aged 18+ living in Wales.

WCVA Study – Non-volunteers 

Share your views on volunteering, including barriers and what could make it easier. 

Who can take part?

Open to people aged 18+ in Wales from global majority communities who are not currently volunteering.

State of the Nation Survey 

Share your views on mental health and addiction support in Wales, including what’s working and what needs to change. 

Who can take part?

Open to anyone living in Wales.

Only Human Public Opinion Survey 

Share your views on reducing addiction-related stigma in Wales. The online survey takes around 10 minutes.
