Have your say in Adferiad’s State of the Nation Survey 2026

Adferiad is inviting people across Wales to share their experiences through our State of the Nation Survey 2026.

The survey will help us better understand the issues affecting people living with mental ill health, substance use challenges and other complex needs, as well as the experiences of their families and carers.

 

Why your voice matters

We want to hear directly from the people at the heart of our work. Your experiences will help us build a clearer picture of what is happening across Wales and identify where change is needed.

The survey asks about areas including:

• Mental health and wellbeing
• Alcohol and other substance use
• Access to treatment and support
• Housing
• Employment
• Benefits and financial pressures
• Rights and involvement in decisions
• Stigma and discrimination

What you tell us will help inform Adferiad’s future work, including the issues we raise with decision-makers and the improvements we campaign for.

 

How to take part

You can complete the State of the Nation Survey online using the links below.

You may also be invited to complete the survey through an Adferiad service. Our teams will be supporting people to take part in a variety of ways, including during group activities, one-to-one sessions, drop-ins and dedicated survey sessions.

Please speak to a member of Adferiad staff if you would like support to complete the survey or need it in a different format.

The survey closes on Friday 11^th September.
